REPORT: NFL Apologizes, Admits They “Regret” Picking Kendrick Lamar For Super Bowl 59 Halftime Show

The NFL is understood to have regrets over their selection of Kendrick Lamar as the performer for this year’s Super Bowl halftime show

Lamar headlined the break during last Sunday’s game between the Eagles and Chiefs, completing one of the more controversial halftime show performances as he used it to ramp up his beef with Drake.

The Compton rapper’s show broke a longstanding record as his performance was the most-watched in Super Bowl history. However, the NFL apologized for the decision in a letter to Lil Wayne.
